A fair exchange

The app is licensed.
Your work is yours.

Use CrateFire to build, perform, record, and export your own work. Bring only audio you have the right to use, and keep backups of the projects and recordings that matter to you.

01

Agreement to these terms

By downloading or using CrateFire, you agree to these Terms of Service and Apple's applicable App Store terms, including Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a different license is presented with the app. If you do not agree, do not use CrateFire.

02

License to use CrateFire

Red Door Apps grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use CrateFire on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the App Store Usage Rules. CrateFire is licensed, not sold.

03

Your projects and recordings

As between you and Red Door Apps, you retain the rights you already hold in the original projects, patterns, arrangements, recordings, and other creative work you make with CrateFire.

You are responsible for maintaining copies of work that matters to you. Before removing the app, replacing a device, or installing a major system update, export or back up any projects and recordings you want to keep.

04

Imported audio and third-party rights

You may import audio only when you have the legal right or permission to use it. You are responsible for any samples, recordings, or other material you import and for the music or files you distribute using that material.

CrateFire does not grant rights to third-party music, samples, trademarks, performances, or other content merely because the app can import or process the material.

05

Acceptable use

You may not use CrateFire unlawfully; infringe another person's rights; interfere with the app or its security; distribute malicious code; or copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.

06

Red Door Apps property

CrateFire, its software, interface, design, branding, documentation, and included materials are owned by Red Door Apps or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not grant you ownership of the app or the Red Door Apps and CrateFire names, logos, or designs.

07

Updates and availability

We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or discontinue features of CrateFire. Device compatibility and feature availability can change with app or operating-system updates. We do not promise that every feature will remain available forever or work with every third-party file, device, or service.

08

No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CrateFire is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, exact audio results, or that the app will meet every production or performance requirement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

09

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Door Apps will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost projects, recordings, data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of CrateFire. Where liability cannot be excluded, Red Door Apps' total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for CrateFire during the twelve months before the claim.

10

Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. You may end them by stopping use of and deleting CrateFire. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

11

Apple

Apple is not responsible for CrateFire or its support. To the extent required by the App Store terms, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the applicable provisions against you.

12

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of- laws principles, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.

We may update these terms when CrateFire or applicable requirements change. The effective date will be revised when updated terms are posted. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
